2018 Pakistan Presidential Election Information&Results

-Offical Results


  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(Pakistan Movement for Justice-which is lead by Imran Khan)'s candidate Arif Alvi won the election over Fazal ur-Rehman from Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F)(Assembly of Islamic Clerics) by 168 Electoral Votes with 100% of the votes are in. Pakisan People's Party's Aitzaz Ahsan came third.

-Turnout 

  According to the official results, 660 out of 679 E.C.s voted, so the turnout was 97.20%.

-Electoral System

  Pakistan elects their President by Electoral College's vote. E.C. is composed by 446 MPs in Senate & National Assembly, in Punjab Assembly's 371 members, Sindh Assembly's 168 members, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly's 124 members and 65 BPs in Balochistan Assembly. However, all 4 local assembly's votes are calculated into 65 votes. As the result, this election originally contained 706 E.C.s, but there was 27 vacant seats in assemblies, so there was 679 E.C.s to vote for the election.
