Introduction
On June 5th of 2019, general parliament(Folketing) election was held in most southest Nordic & Scandinavian nation of Denmark(Officially Kingdom of Denmark), also including Greenland and the Faroe Islands-their autonomous territories.
All or 179 seats in the Parliament of Demark would be elected through this election cycle. Out of those, 177 are from the Danish mainland, rest of it are equally divided into the autonomous territories-Greenland, Faroe Islands. Most of the members of parliament(139 MPs) are elected by proportional representation(pr), including the systems of Sainte-Laguë method and Hare quota in 10 large constituencies. The rest of the seats are the ones to balance the results of pr election. In reference, there is a election threshold of 2% in main Denmark.
Contesting Groups
A total of 26 political parties are contesting the election, 13 are from mainland, 6 are from the Islands, and the remaining 7 are from Greenland. In mainland, all parties with a seat (or seats) in the parliament could participate the election and no-seat political groups only can after getting more then 20,109 signatures of registered voters. Otherwise in Faroe Islands and Greenland, only parties that containing at least single seat in the Local Parliaments(Løgting & Inatsisartut) can contest the general election. For reference, Faroe Islands' Center Party refused to participate. Our Final Polling Average from May 25th to June 4th with-in 33,386 samples is linked to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cKAZil_iH6X2xKE4GfBpH7Z9pvqBlUHqaExogvy06T4. It shows the Social Democrats-led left Red Coalition leading with 51.42% - which is over half of the votes - still after excluding The Alternatives, who is described as Green Coalition and performing at 3.05%. Oppositely, the current ruling Liberal/Venstre-led right Blue Coalition is back-behind at 45.20%. Independent candidates are projected to get around 0.33% of the valid votes.
